  This company does not pay it's subcontractors. They are an unethical. I am one of several contractors in the San Francisco Bay Area who have not been paid by them, and I have signed contract with them. The company has never questioned the quality of the work my company performed, and we did it under a signed contract and only billed to the contract. There are other small companies here that have suffered the same fate when working for Vortex. Vortex was paid by the City, but they did not pay any of their subcontractors. We are all working through the City of San Francisco to try and get them to pay. Do not trust this company.
